Got Dropped From Serps. Now what?

My site http://www.mubinahmed.com has just been dropped from the SERP's.

I believe that it happened this morning and I have no idea why. I dont sell links or anything from there.

Anyone know who to contact regarding this?

Kind of a bitch when your personal blog gets blocked.

 

If you have a google webmaster account submit a re-inclusion request, sit back and hope for the best

 

I'd wait a few days and see if you bounce back before doing a re-inclusion.

Yup. Two of my sites came back after 3.5 to 4 years and now they have PR too.

3.5 to 4 years! Thats impossible, I cant wait that long.

 

Well the first thing I would do, is narrow down and figure out what you did wrong, to get dropped.

And fix that problem. After that, it might come back on its own, or you might need to re-submit for inclusion.

 

Part of the reason for starting this thread is trying to find out what the hell I did wrong

Umm, thats the whole point of this thread.

 

May be bad neigbourhood dropped you from SERPs. Check the number and quality of links.

 

I seriously doubt it as I did no malicous linking to any of my sites.

 

Your blog still shows a PR 4 on main page and PR 3 on many others. I don't think you are banned, otherwise PR bar would be grey. It's probably a Google internal and temporary problem that will change soon. Don't worry too much and wait some days.

i believe link seller sites become bad sites after this

 

Thats true, BUT Johnchow.com also has/had PR 6-3 and now his site is totally dropped from the serps as well. He first got dissed for the term "Make Money Online", and now his site is not in the SERP's at all. Someone like JohnChow could afford a hit like this because they already have an established readership but me being a newbie blogger thats not exactly the case.

 

I have never bought links for my personal blog, but as you do know I did release free wordpress themes and those are used by bloggers all over the blogosphere.

 

Google may dislike your IP address, there are nearly 400 sites hosted on the same ip address as your site, so maybe... one of the other sites one there have done something to cause G to drop your site.

Alternatively it could just be a temporary glitch that will sort it self out in a few day, Fingers crossed for you
