Got differnet C class - check, BUT what about DNS's??

    Hi all,

I have signed up to the 10 C class IP plan at seohosting.com, set up a package and now set up a few accounts.

BUT, they all default to the same DNS servers?? Whats the point in putting sites on different IPs if they all have the same DNS??

So, does this mean I now need to buy a package of DNS's from somewhere, so I can have different DNS for each account/IP?

How and where do I achieve this?

I came to this realisation when I looked here: skynethosting.net/seo-hosting.htm

They have "Separate Nameservers for Every C-Class IP" and "WHOIS Privacy Protected Nameservers"

Which brings me to domain privacy.

Whats the point of having different class C ips, and different DNS if every site/domain is clearly owned by me if you look up WhoIs?

ARRGHH... how do I solve this - do I need to?

How to I get rid of my footprint??

Is there a 'Eliminate footprint' guide? If not, its needed!

Thanks in advance for your advice!

    Dave.

No matter what steps you take, the footprint "CAN" be traced back to you.

You can use C class IP which you use for a site to create private name servers for each site ? this might solve your problem.

very interested in the answer to these questions. OP, did you ever figure out what to do?

Also, is there an easy EDU on creating private name servers?
