Got blogspot can I add own domain?

I have a blogspot and I am thinking of adding my own url to it, what do you think and which is the best way?

 

Simply purchase the domain from Godaddy and use their nameservers

Or buy Domain Directly from google , there is a bold option there on blogspot for buying it.

Don't add your url to your blog spot. just write articles and in your blog spot and link them pack to the home page in your site.

 

Good idea MIRENGE, only redirecting your domain to blog is not good idea at all. However, it can help you in some ways like you will have a shorter name which people can recognize.

I think it would've been better to just purchase your domain straight from blogspot !
I don't think it would affect your ranking though ?
