Hi Robbey, Its nice that your ambitious and I believe your best is yet to come, My only concern is your age my friend, and the legalities with supply to minors. perhaps you could get mum or dad to be an authority for you. Just that in some countries you have to be 18 years to be in business, Please don't get me wrong Im not saying you wont be successfull. I believe in you so much that the opportunity Id like you to check out will require mum and dads aproval only because of your current age nothing more. I can relate to you because I went into business at the age of 15 and by the age of 18 owned my own home by 22 my portfolio has grown. For my 30th birthday I became debt free. If you are interested in an opportunity get mum and dad to check out my link, if they agree then Id be honoured to be your mentor. Please note registration process will require mum or dads approval along with appropriate id.
If I was you I would think of some topics/niches you like and create a few sites about them. Everyone will tell you it's far easier to keep motivated if you actually enjoy the subject. You have the advantage of being young, you won't have as many outgoings to cater for as some people on here so although it takes longer to start a site from fresh it's also cheaper (so you can make more). Then as times goes by they will get better and better so you can hopefully have a nice living from them
Keep the $$$ safe! Invest in your site or perhaps buy a new one! Nice to see a kid getting success. Sure in 5yrs you can make 10K.
I advice you to buy forum or auto page. Image <-> file hosting or proxys are nice but coasts for hosting are insane, and adsense don't pay high for those niches. Also don't buy blog's, as soon owner will stop writing then blog readers will go away.
Probablly you should buy some good domain names and to start 4-5 websites from scratch. You will have more chances like this
I am always afraid that if I buy such site I will get screw coz admin of it in the past done sth do make money. When I will take it , this 'thing' will be turned off. For egzample : If you buy site with PR=4-5 - after month if all of backlinks will expire you will get PR=1-2 and loose money... correct me if I am wrong..
I would spend that $1000 of promoting techking.org or buying a site with income. 62 members isn't to much...Promotion.
HOLD ON TO YOUR MONEY!! If you are asking in a public forum how to spend $1000 it shows how little you know about what you are doing. I don't mean to be insulting but its very easy to think throwing money at something that it will instantly send you on your way to financial freedom. The internet biz is hard and complicated and if you don't know what you are doing that $1000 will disapear and you'll never see it again. Also don't ask how to spend $1000 in a public forum. No discredit to Digital Point but there are a lot of newbies here who are not yet making money and have never invested $1000 and made a profit. However, people's helpful nature will mean they'll give you advice and it might sound good - but it is not based on experience and could be completely wrong. So DON'T spend your money. Take it from someone who made that mistake when they started: http://www.sitesalary.com/blog/the-5-biggest-mistakes-i-made-when-starting-my-online-business/ There are plenty of free (or very cheap) ways to continue to grow your sites and doing so will teach you a lot more about how to spend money. If anything you'll need that money to help you get by when you leave school.
