Got an .eu domain, if I point at it my site will SEs see it as duplicate content?

My main site is doing well, I got a related theme .eu domain, and want to point it to the same site, but do I risk getting banned from search engines for duplicate content?
Both domain names are good so I want to maximize on it.

Now I have a .eu domain name (not the same wording as my existing domain name) what's the best thing to do?

I suppose redirecting a domain to your main site will have you penalised from SE probably. I have suffered from penalisation on one of my sites. I suggest you get some more opinion on this topic.

admans, its not a redirect. Its just another domain name pointed to the same site.
I have had redirects in the past and google didnt like them at all.

    Thanks for the comment Mong.

Hi Jim, do you mean that a 301 redirect only is a problem?

No. I mean that nothing else than 301 is a problem.

301 is the only valid redirection for SEO.

And don't put a copy of the site there, that's dup content.
