You really need to go ahead and do some homework and research yourself. A few helpful things might be -
1. Do keyword research using the Google adwords toolbar for starters.
2. Learn about optimizing content on your site by using the right keywords in the right density.
3. Look at other onsite optimization techniques like using keywords in headers, titles, anchor text etc.
4. Off site SEO: try blog and forum commenting strictly without spamming. Next stage, try some article directories, link building etc.

Really, there is no formula out there that people will or can tell you. Just do your research and you will find some methods more suitable than others. Next time, I hope you can be much more specific with your questions here so that people can help you out. Good luck!
