I have a new site and have spent a lot of time on it. I have a worry though at the moment. Currently it's my second site and i put it as an addon domain as i should have./ The problem is i have just found out that my new site as well as having its own domain, is also an addon for my old site.
So this is what i can do in the browser.
    http://www.newsite.oldsite.com
"Newsite" being my add on domain and "oldsite" being my original site. Is this supposed to happen or have i set the root folders up wrong. I can get onto my new site with a normal domain but im not sure if the addon should have happened. Can anyone help?

Addon domains can be accessed via the subdomain of the main domain but also separately. So if you setup domainB.com as an addon domain to domainA.com, you should be able to access domainB.domainA.com and ALSO directly as domainB.com. I hope that makes sense.

So that's perfectly normal and all my extra website can be accessed via the original domain?

Yes, they can all be accessed via the subdomain and also by their own domains.

Once you have the name servers set corectly, only you will know it's an addon Domain..

And only someone with some know how will ever find out..
