I have a week old site www.floridabasslakes.com. I have used several keyword tools and found that the traffic for florida bass lakes (which I SERP at #9 on Google after only a week) is low. According to overture, florida bass fishing has decent traffic at approx. 11,000. The dot com domain was taken, so I bought www.floridabassfishing.us. I just uploaded the templates, but got tons of work to do on it. I will provide some content and links on this site, but I want to provide a "big" link to the floridabasslakes.com site where my content is very good (I think) for this niche. Any suggestions for getting indexed and good SERP for the new site and linking to my other one?
make sure you don't have duplicate content. A lot of people starting out tend to just buy a bunch of domains and stick the same content which devalues the new domains.
Thanks JCO! I just put links in to my other website. I am adding many other pages to the new one for tips/techniques. Thanks for the headsup information on dupe content.
