I wonder if the more links you make, the better position in engine you get?

 

I read somewhere that if you want to increase your alexa ranking do the following :

1- Make your website as your browsers startup page
2- tell your friends to put your website also on their browsers startup page
3- Add alexa widget on your website
4- Add alexa toolbar

Didn't try them yet but willing too
