Got a few questions on how Beemp3 works

    Hey, well there's lots of search engine scripts out there, but most of them just grab from a few sources, but beemp3 is different so I have a few questions :

    1) Does anyone know if they just crawl the net looking for mp3 files and index them once they've found one?

    2) How do they have such accurate file information, like the artist album etc when the mp3 filename doesn't give those details, does anyone know how they'd verify these things?

    nope, they have search form right? it will search on list of mp3/file sharing servers and cache the link on there site

    I just noticed that there were lots of links from say a wordpress blog where thats the only mp3 on the whole site, and it made me wonder a bit
