    You can do great powers with SSI!!! :D

    php= dynamic and that's never better than any URL with htm, html, shtml though it does get indexed.

    This is a great site for xml sitemaps. After it is created, it will give you the option of submitting the sitemap to Google for you.

    File extension isn't supposed to matter, and I don't see any evidence that html extensions are better than php. What hurts php is that it's often associated with multiple operators like "?t" etc. which are only a problem when there are more than 2 (as said by Google).

    So, theirs no difference between
    www.mysite.com/page.php and www.mysite.com/page.htm
    Code (markup):

    PHP is an awesome language that makes sites dynamic, and thus useful to many folks... in their own ways. HTML and PHP extensions are easily interchanged with just a few server settings and a single line of code or two.

    PHP gets a bad rap because the default settings are to pass session variables in the URL if cookies are not supported...

    The URLs look great on your cookie-loving browser, but the search engine spiders do not support cookies and get stuck with something like

    PHPSESSID=tuyt321uytyr4yu1nnn14dl4yd4oc8

    after the ? in the URL....

    this can be fixed through your php files or php.ini... whatevers available to you from your host.. by using

    <?
    ini_set("session.use_only_cookies","1");
    ?>

    now any spiders visiting you won't get the funky string in your URL. Not a tough fix at all to get all the benefits that a dynamic language offers.

    AutoMapIt.com does my sitemaps which I never even think about anymore. They run like clockwork with many sitemap formats that are all done automatically and the customer support is incredible.
