I'm in the UK, and I want to expand my online business, but how do I go about it? I really want to try expand to the full exstent. What can I do?
I tried to get some "free money" a while back, and sent $300 to a company that garanteed to get me the grant I needed. Long story short, there were no grants for a healthy white guy in the US, and that $300 I got back by freaking to my Credit Card company when I realized they had sent me stock CRAP. There might be some help for you out there, but be careful. I think any serous business needs to bring in outside investors... even if the gov were giving grants, avoid the government like the plague. They have enough control already. This has turned into a rant. GOOD LUCK!
Its depend on what biz you're on. Government will sent their man to monitor your biz for few month and then only give you answer whether they will approve your application or not. You can try to apply via here www.governmentfunding.org.uk
Not sure how it goes in the UK, but I asked my friend who'se in the taxation field about how to get one in the US. He basically told me not to even bother, because unless you're a 'minority' and/or a woman, you probably won't get one.
