Anyone know of them? I have a client I'm doing SEO for that wants to use them for a link building campaign. I'm looking for a little feedback from anyone familiar with them and/or anyone who's used them. In doing basic research it seems as though that's what they do - spend all day trading links...
Don't... That guy is a pain in the ass... Expect unsolicited email spam, an phone calls from them if you sign up... That guy is just a pain in the ass... He doesn't even do that well... Seriously, don't get involved. I learnt the hard way a few months ago. Now my hotmail account get LOADS of email every day or so from them... GLEN CANDY, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, YOU CAN SUCK MY A$$
haha, wow thats what i wanted though - honest input. BUT here is the situation. client came to me for "very basic SEO". i did this by optimizing on-page what was a very poor site. throw in a few links and now he's got great results in yahoo and MSN.... client says "great, how do we get even more" as he was now looking for more comprehensive SEO since he'd seen some results. i say that more content and more/better links are needed. he goes out and signs an agreement with those guys for links. so i'm sorta stuck. although the client really respects my opinion and could just call it a loss if i think itll hurt. i doubt a few links will hurt, even if some are spammy... thoughts? i have nothing to lose in terms of money, as its the clients money and he's already spent it. i'm just wondering if this guy uses any sketchy linking techniques that might hurt my interests...... there's no way he's getting access to the site (not even my own mother would get that)
That always sucks to be put in the middle like that. If he wanted your help, he should have had you handle everything instead of going off half cocked like that.
Well... Inbound link will never hurt you... Just make sure you don't reciprocate... I'm afraid your client will now be stuck forever getting links from this guy... I have sent back some really rude emails to these guys telling them that I am not interested yet they don't listen. Seroiusly, Don't get involved yourselves... The emails will piss you off... "thiis is the 3rd time I have requested a link exchange" "thiis is the 4th time I have requested a link exchange" "thiis is the 5th time I have requested a link exchange"............ "thiis is the 23rd time I have requested a link exchange"?!?!?!??!?!?!?! It never stops... If they link to you it will never hurt, but just ignore them,,, Seriously, these guys are a pain in the ass (Could you tell I'm not too keen on them )
actually its cool - i dont like doing link building so i generally outsource it whenever possible. granted, i have a guy i prefer to outsource it to - but whatever. he's paying me to do on-page optimization and also manage some content, so i'm fine with things. he's paying them t o link build so that's cool too. i just dont want their link building to jeopardize the sites rankings through sketchy/spammy tactics, as ultimately he's paying me to be responsible for the site, whereas his payment to them was a one time thing for a bunch of links...
