Hahahahahha........LOL. Yeah, I agree. I love the NSA spying on me to. And there is nothing wrong with Cheney shooting his friend and refusing to see police for 14 hours and not getting into trouble.

I mean, he is rich and powerful, so he can get away with everything. I'm racist because I feel there is something wrong with a president wanting middle eastern companies controlling our ports. I'm the crazy one.

No mia, I'm thinking logically. What Bush is doing is fascist. You don't give that type of power to a foreign company. I wonder how much the Carlyle Group is going to make off this deal. They do have extensive business in the middle east, and after all George HW Bush is an advisor for their company. Nothing sounds fishy at all...............

    Hey Mia,

You need to start calling Republicans racist, they're protesting this one too, I know you conveniently forgot to mention that and put it on all the "leftists" ;)

Mia, it was on the news. Both Republicans and Democrats are against this.

My point is, what Bush is doing is wrong. If people from both parties and congress are against it, doesn't that say something?

Mia, don't take offense to this but, do you love Bush or are you afraid of the man? That is a serious question. I'm not trying to be funny.

How can you stand behind something that both parties and congress are against? Bush is only a human. He is suspect to making bad decisions just like anyone.

Sure, it says to the rest of the world that Muslims are bad. That is your point. I hear you loud and clear.

What type of question is that? Are you ok.

Not really. He is doing what no one on either side of the isle yourself included are doing. Extending the olive branch if you will and sending a clear message to the rest of the world that the US is not against Islam. We are bigger than that. Apparently you are not.

Keep in mind that if both sides are against it, the measure will fail. Even with a presidential veto. If "everyone" as you say is against it. This would after all be Bush's first veto in his entire tenure. Can't say the same of the previous super veto administration.

Are you really that scared of Islam? You would like me to believe that all Muslims are bad now? Is that what you are saying?

wow - sure is a confusing thread....

I am guessing that Mia is playing off the flip-flopping he is seeing, but from my personal beliefs it would be foolish to have any country be in charge of our ports. Maybe I am just lost, because none of what I am reading here makes sense - maybe I just need more sleep while Rob shows baby pictures from another thread to his wife...

ok, I will remove my 3rd grade education level ass from the politics forum now. Thanks for having me! <3

Oh really. Bush is extending the "olive branch" while his administration gets ready to blow Iran off the map? Sounds like we have a case of double think here.

First Bush wants to help fight against terrorism by attacking Iran and occupying Iraq, and lets not forget about Afghanistan. Then, he turns around and wants an Arab country to take control of our ports? Maybe this is an episode of the "Twilight Zone" or the "Outer Limits."

Fact is truly stranger than fiction.

I'm pretty sure I'm ok. Its just that I find it strange how someone can support the decisions of a man who is making a terrible choice.

We live in a Democracy mia, not a Monarchy. Bush isn't a king. When the entire population doesn't want to go along with something, that means we don't go along with it, regardless of what the president wants.

I'm pretty confused to, but I want to make sense of everything that is going on right now. Let me make a list:

    1. The NSA is spying on Americans.
    2. Bush wants to allow Arab countries to take over major US ports.
    3. General Hayden doesn't understand the 4th Amendment.
    4. Dick Cheney breaks the law, shoots his friend, and doesn't get in trouble.
    5. We are in a "War on Terror", yet Bush wants to allow our ports to be taken over by Arab companies.
    6. Bush talks about being a dictator.
    7. Albert Gonzalez said that Bush is above the law.
    8. In 2005 the supreme court ruled that under imminent domain, your home can be taken to develop commercial real estate.
    9. They get on CNN and openly admit that the Bilderberg Group exists and they want a one world government.

Now I'm going to take these clues and run it through my Echelon computer system:

    0000000000000000101101000000000101101101010101
    1010101010000000010101010101010101001010101101
    1101010010010101011001010100101010101010010101....................

The results of my data indicate that the US is headed towards a police state, where large corporations dictate government policy. Another name for this is Fascism or Corporatism. If Americans don't wake up soon the country will fall like Rome. Have a good day.

He's a lot like a candidate in a debate, he:

    a) pretends to miss info that damages his side
    b) puts words in other peoples mouths
    c) never gives a straight answer

It's like trying to rationalize with an 8 year old only instead of repeating everything YOU say, he just repeats everything BUSH (and co) say. ;)

I don't give shit if its racist we shouldn't have Arabs (or any other foreign country) watching our ports

And if you look at our track record in the middle east, Saddam and Bin Laden were good arabs, and our allies not that long ago.

Anyone who goes along with bush on this is a tool.

Is funny between mia and will spencer they want to bomb and invade every country in the middle east, but they worry about having fair immigration, and think that arabs should guard our ports, because it would be unfair to deny them.

Bush has proved beyond all reasonable doubt he is a moron with this one.

Mia its so obvious you have no response to what anyone is saying, so you are resorting to name calling. Its kind of pathetic.
