What do you think, might Google have any objections to this? fridge-googling.blogspot.com It's only cooking, recipes and stuff, come on, Jamie Oliver never hurt anyone...
I don't suppose they can have a problem with it. As far as I'm aware the word 'Googling' isn't a trademark of their's - more a colloquialism.
Apparently they ARE a little jumpy about it. The word Google is fast in danger of becoming generic (it has got in some dictionaries, I think - as in "to Google"). http://news.com.com/2061-10803_3-6105481.html In Serbia (where I live), we say "izGUGlati", meaning to find something on the Internet, not necessarily using Google! I could understand them being worried...
Yes, I know they're protective of anything that says 'Goog' in it, but you have to draw the line somewhere - a googol is a big number, googlie a way of bowling in cricket - Google haven't got the rights over these words as much as they might like to. I'm sure googling is fine. Let's put it this way - one of my sites has the word AdSense in the title and I'm not the least bit worried (but I don't use AdSense on it).
Don't forget, google is god. That would have been a funny Google bomb, having Google.com show up as number 1 for "God".
