Googles View of Combining Sites?

I am a bit sick of the maintenance involved in keeping several sites up and running all to cow tow to the supreme God of WWW - Google. What happens if I take say 5 education websites and combine all content into one of the domain names I own?

Will Google say - hey that is someone else's content? What is the best way to do this? I have hundreds of articles in great sites but they have been hit by the assanine "who the heck knows what Google wants this week" syndrom and I am tired of it. It seems it would make sense to manage one site in a particular theme (education) rather than 5. Your opinions please.

If it makes sense do I move all articles to:

    A) the highest PR site I have among the group?

    B) the seemingly best domain name among the group although it has a lower PR score?

    Getting Tired.....

    You need a vacation.

Use article spinner to come up with new version of your previous contents. Also one good way to gain traffic/backlinks is to have a Republishing Policy for your articles where you require a backlink to your site whenever someone wants to get contents/article or part of them and publish to their blog.
