Google's "Sub-Results" - Do they have to do with SiteMaps ?

When I first searched for Digital Point, the first result had some "sub-results". I'd like to do this with my own site. Does it have to do with sitemaps ? If so, what do I need to do to achieve this ? Here is a screenshot of what I want:

i think it has to do with authority on that keyword phrase.

lorien1973 is correct. As your site builds authority for your niche, you will see secondary results for your site. Don't expect it to occur quickly though.

What actually happened is that I bought my website from someone. This website had those sub-results when searched for in Google... When I bought it, however, everything disappeared.
