    Hi all,

I was working on a 6 months old domain - kind of a social network. And for the past 2 weeks - one of main keywords is acting weird. (Sandbox tool says 120,000 searches per month)

It keeps jumping between page 1 and page 9, every day for 1-2 hr Google shows my keyword on page1 and rest of the time it remains in page9.

When its on Page1 - I get around 100 to 150 visitors in that hour with bounce rate of close to 15% or so, but rest of the time the website has ZERO traffic from search engine.

Google recently dropped my PR from 4 to 0 in the previous two updates and I don't know why:
    - Site has 25,000 backlinks as per yahoo and lots of PR6, PR5, PR4, PR3.
    - 0 Outgoing links from the entire website.
    - Homepage has unique content - passes copyscape
    - 1100+ pages indexed
    - Every Member gets sub-domain on their name. Was it a bad option to give each member their own subdomain?

So what must be a good option to do now.

    Thanks for your opinions.

    Hi,

The stat of your site is really very appealing.

    1) I think to offer sub-doamins to users on their own name is really a good thing but i dont think, it will negatively affect your main site because every sub-domain has its own authority. You can say that Google consider every sub-domain as a new site.

    2) I think the backlinks to your sites have not very much better quality or may be you just focus on their quantity rather than quality. All links should come from related and relevant sites.

    Thanks,
