Google's spiders/robots related

    hello all dp members

    some of my client link's page size is dispaly in Google.com - 90 K

    then some seo guys said google's crawler up to 80 k size's content crawled and less 10 k is not to be toched so is it right ?

    also reply the suggestion this query related ?

    Google will happily crawl pages 90K in size.

    I have actually had pages indexed that were over 150kb in size (this was before gzipping)

    If you are concerned about the size page though, try gzipping your content. Itll make the page faster for both your customers and Google :)

    There is no official source where i saw the upper limit of the crawl.. you should be safe for page size up to 100KB.

    I think the smaller the size of a page is the best. It also help the site to take a short time on uploading the page data.
