I was just considering using Google Sandbox as an aternative to Gtrends. It seems that they have stats for estimated search volume. Yet, whenever I look at websites talking about Sandbox, they say that Sandbox has no popularity stats. Can anyone confirm what those stats are? I thought the difference would be that Sandbox's search results would purely be Google whilst gtrends was a combination of different search engines? Thanks, Kit
Just seen an online video......http://revver.com/video/1052585/keyword-search-tool-gtrends-se/ It states that Sandbox have NOW added the search volume stats, obviously indicating that it's a recent development. If you look at Sandbox, it does state the following stats: Approx Search Volume: September and Approx Avg Search Volume
From what I know, sandbox is a situation where Google will penalized your site because it is just new.
Judging from some of the responses, I'm getting the feeling thee are 2 Sandbox's/ I'm referring to the Adwords keyword research tool: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Yes, the tool now has approximate monthly searches. In the past it wasn't available, so thats why you may have been hearing that these stats are unavailable. They are public now since a few months.
So is it actually possible to get sandboxed if you have too many incoming links? Some people say it is, and some say it isn't... confusing world
Google Sandbox is a codename for a delaying filter applied by Google since a couple of years, to prevent new websites from manipulating the SERP's quickly with a newly indexed domains.
