I don't think that the site has authority but google finds the site useful for the search term The directories like http://www.site-sift.com are the most useful for a search on their own name. So google gives them sitelinks. Deep linking also plays a role in which sites have sitelinks.
Because people like Aviva are using you to sell their links at an inflated price to people who are vulnerable and know no better. What part of that do you not understand? Its dishonest and the bogeyman is going to get you sooner or later.
If thats the case whats Adwords, its fine to buy listings e.g. Sponsored, but not gain them through buying links hmmm basically we adhere or get the F*** out ,
Hello... I dont know But after viewing how many webmasters think google is evil in the poll then that tells me that google doesnt offer much if any information to its webmasters which could very easily turn supporters into haters and against them in time. thx malcolm
google don't care with webmasters, what they care is their users. That's all. It's just like factory, what they care is their customers, not their low-wage workers.
Your question has been answered many times. AdSense ads (purchased by AdWords) are advertising only - they do not pass PageRank or anchor text benefits. Buying links is an attempt to manipulate Google search rankings via PR.
What are you talking about? Their customers are webmasters. If it wasn't for webmasters Google would be gone!
Not even close. In many ways, webmasters are Google's enemy. Customers are those who use Google's srvices, not those who do their best to manipulate their algorithms.
Killing paid links promotion is the best option. It helps in promoting those sites which have natural or unique content but very less backlinks. It really appears funny.
Thanks for that, however it wasn't a question it was just a rant. IT was basically me saying if G says its alright then its alright. However I do see method in their madness, we are manipulating PR to benefit us, an dif G made somthing too they would be right behind us. IMO
