you want free traffic? Do what google says. I rank #1 for several keywords on msn and yahoo, and they provide 1/10th the traffic google does for the same keyword with a rank of #10.

We should all place content="noindex, nofollow" for google-bot. It should learn them when they have nothing to index anymore :-P

Yep - what is new (yawn)

Sitelinks are about clustering around a subject (site infrastructure) rather than so called "authority"

Your example does not answer my qestion and in fact makes you look more of a pillock on the subject.

"Authority Site" was a term invented by "link Sellers" - unless you can answer my post or better still provide "PROOF" from Google

And Wealdie -- you might be interested to see --what GooglGuy ( if you don't know who GoogleGuy is -I won't bother to answer you anymore- you will proove to be too much of a noob then to even deserve a response) says about those Hub-Like & authority like score-

Click on the link - ( I can't put the screenshot here as it will break the size of this page0

    http://www.imagehosting.com/show.php/1108997_Authorityscore.JPG.html

There is a whole lot of algorithm to get those sitelinks-- they are not just anything as only few --lucky-selected sites get them --not ABCD sites

Read Matt Cutts here about those sitelinks--

    http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/ui-fun-better-snippets/

Read carefully what Matt Says-- only select few

    EDIT

I didn't see your reply to maldives before posting--

But check my previous posts and follow the links where those terms were introduced. None of those were directory owners and at that time it was not very well known too.

Don't play the spoilt kid- who knows nothing but ranting.

Whilst this can be debated the point you are ducking is that its dishonest to call these sites Authority sites. It misreprsentation at best and one member went as far as to call you a liar. I second that and sincerley hope that it sticks and goes on the record. Nice one sunshine.

I'm just wondering where are these Authority PR**KS when you need them. Its just starting to be like a failed coup d etat that I have to fight for the pricks but they don't even give a damn. Oh wait they are busy at school or their investments and let us do it for them. Thats just NUTS. I mean I am not pinpointing just one but ALL OF THEM TOP TO BOTTOM. But I bet you they read the threads here daily but never have the courage to do anything.

Yep - I know all about Google Guy and all that stuff.

But STILL nobdy has answered my post as to why a so called "AUTHORITY SITE" cannot even rank for 2 x unique sentances on its (INDEXED) Blog

Bring back the muppet show - you could get a leading role

    Please publish your findings

I am not spoilt or ranting. It seems that if any newbie disagrees with the "established" "experts" around here - thet newbie gets slaughtered as "knowing nothing"

    Fair enough

Google around why Ricoh and BMW did not rank for few months for their brand names--you will find the reason why Alive and Aviva do not rank now.

Try to find the answers yourself.

They have one or two of their worst bagmen still fighting for them. But don't worry, they're running out of steam too. :)

I have those ANSWERS. It was not my QUESTION.

Anyone can rip me apart AFTER they have answered my post showing examples of an "AUTHORITY" site not showing up for a 2 sentance, unique Blog post.

Now to me, common sense says that an "Authority Site" would show for this (heck a new site with jack shit authority should too)

Answer this with sensible ideas (not "BLIP") - then cane me as much as you like.

Otherwise - you are talking SHITE

It's google's algo it's google's search. They can do WHAT THEY WANT. If you don't want to play by there rules don't count on getting traffic from google. It's that simple.

We tend to forget that THEY are the multi billion dollar company providing all the visitors to come to our pages. THEY GET THE TRAFFIC AND SEND IT TO US.

You want a piece of there massive lucrative pie? Play by there rules.

Just watched a bio on the creators. In ~2004 an update called "Florida" happened which shook the entire webmaster community. I think it is happening now.

Google's #1 priority is NOT making sure webmasters are happy we'll come anyways as we want $$$.

Google's #1 Priority is providing relevant search. That is it that is all. Play by the rules and reap the rewards.

Of course he is. He can't prove his assertion because Google never said the presence of SiteLinks give websites "Authority Status." He knows it, so he's getting defensive like a rabid animal trapped in a corner. Careful, he might get mean next :)

Me - I can handle the heat - bullshit is even easier to deal with :D

BTW - does anyone really believe that "brands" like "Alive" and "Aviva" can be compared to real brands like Ricoh and BMW

There is a real world out there (I know - I looked it up on the internet once)

Some others might benefit from doing the same :)

The better question is: does anyone without Aviva and Alive in their sig file believe it? No ;)

Does the highlighted sentence mean anything to you?

    I don't think so.

Alive and Aviva do not rank for the same reason BMW and Ricoh didn't rank once.

I know from where you are coming --go to ur boss and ask him about me.
So don't get to me --there might be lots of worm to come out if i really digg it.

I am having dignified arguments- still not ready to stoop too low to get personal. But don't get personal- and pull me to where you are. I am as good down there as dignified as here.

    Don't try me.
