Googles reading of the uk.com domain

I was wondering what you think about the uk.com domain name?

Do you feel it holds much sway or better to stick with the .co.uk choice?

 

I don't think they would treat it any better or worse than other domains?

 

both will be treated as same....

I think uk.com looks pretty wierd so I wouldn't buy one. A co.uk is cheaper too.

 

The domains are treated the same by google.

 

Almost all domain extensions has successful sites, it is the content, relevancy, backlinks and whole optimization process that makes the site meet the ranking factors.

 

.co.uk its the best suited to seo ... i have not seen a uk.com yet

 

.com had higher preference compare to .co.uk

 

It's just another ccTLD, nothing fancy or nothing wrong with it.

Domain name .uk.com is similar to domain name .co.uk, BUT domain name .co.uk attracts more users, since it's more known than the .uk.com.

 

according to me .co.uk domain is better if you want ranking in uk region (Google give priority)
