Search engines come and go. Yet Google always holds its place. I believe that Google might nbe a bit shocked seeing the US audience taking on bing more seriously. The Google OS move is something aimed at making google and its ads appear more.

I personally want Google to loose their market share....
I know its not going to happen but if does happen.. then the old days will come again

there will be competition in the market, forcing Google to pay better rates to their publishers, as they used to do some years before to capture market...:)

Bing results are very similar to Yahoo results, but Google's are very different than Bing or Yahoo's. I think Yahoo shines as a directory and Bing is adding the suggestions features on the left (kind of like the old Ask Jeeves if you ask me), but these are just butterflys flying in the face of the Chrome fighter jet that is Google.

For there to be a real shake-up in the market, there needs to be something drastically different. The one who does this will be the next Google.

Honestly I'm not against or what in any SEs. But just
think of the business all over the world. The biggest
and the richest company falls down.. and the small
company goes up.. there will be changes.. but for me
it's up to Google whether they can still manage to stay up
against different SEs. But based on their status today,
I can see that they are continuing to grow and grow and grow..
same as to Bing and other SEs.. I think Google will just remain quiet
and at the same time they will continue to give us new great features.
