I wrote an article I wrote after noting Google’s use of showing topic suggestions as soon as you type something into the Google search box. I looked at the suggested topics and keywords after putting in just a single letter. The findings were a bit surprising and I think tells us something about ourselves. It's a simple, fun and brief article entitled Google Ranking: Who controls the Alphabet?
hello... hahaha just tried 1 letter capital "C" and my suggestions where ALL top 500 sites cnn, craigslist, circut city, chase ect ect thx malcolm
Pretty interesting, but I think it is not great factor to consider like registering sites and/or naming close to top of alphabet.
Nice find buddy but I think i am running behind this from last few months . I have seen many webmasters playing with some different numbers and Alphabet in front of their domain names and article .
Czzarre - I like your article. Nice east reading interesting article for the morning, to help wake me up.
Thanks for the responses. I wrote the article all in fun. I was thinking about doing the numbers too. perhaps I'll add that tonite. It is kinda fun... For one thing, I didnt know why the keyword/topic 420 was the most prominant with 4 ...now I understand However, no one needs to explain to me why 69 tops the charts with everything beginning with 6
