Ok guys, i had a small confusion that i'm not able to clarify as i'm getting different answers at different places.. PR Boost = (1-d) + d*[PR(s1)/Links(s1) + PR(s2)/Links(s2)....+ PR(sn)/Links(sn)] Where : d = Damping Factor (Usually 0.85) s1 = The page where your backlink is placed PR(s1) = PageRank of the page where your backlink is placed Links(s1) = The total number of Links(Outbound and Internal) on the page your backlink is placed. Code (markup): Just check the above Formula and let me know if its correct, specially the one in bold, red font. As i've seen at many places that people have stated just 'outbound' links to be considered while calculating link juice. P.S. No Spammy 'I AGREE' please.
the red sentence means: basically, the more external links there are on a page, the less link juice (pr value) you get from it.
@funkymario and @SeoPpromotion, i know what it means. I have taken this out of an article written by me itself. What i'm asking here is whether 'Outbound and internal' both links are counted for link juice distribution or only Outbound links are calculated while distributing link juice. I.e. if i have a link on that particular page with no other outbound links and 30 internal links, do i get all the link juice or is it evenly distributed among the internal links too?? Sorry if i'm confusing you'll here. But i'm about to write an article on Pagerank sculpting and want some doubts cleared.
