Google's Page Rank Discussion Thread

Where does everyone check their PR? Do most of you jsut use the Google toolbar?

 

My site is now PR3 on some datacentres but PR0 on others.

The google toolbar is showing PR0 though

 

Google page rank update now. A few pages of my have been up from nothin. and another page have been up. another page is till nothing.

I like google so far.

 

My page rank's (new domain) still same..

alll mine are the same or 1 or 2 ranks higher but 1 site its droped and its the one ive been the hardest since the last update. lol ;/

 

Mine went down to 2 from 3. Guess i've not been working on my site much, so thats acceptable.

 

Google update the page rank information on 30th April 2008. We lose ranking from PR3 to PR N/A, also some inner pages got PR0 to PR2,PR3. www.saibposervices.co.uk/Image-editing.aspx page got PR3 from this updation.

 

I noticed one thing which is common always whenever google updates the PR database, they consider good back links in consideration, I believe that is the top priority that home many good PR sites are linking to your site, if you have few good PR sites linking back to you, you get a good PR.
I was wondering if I am correct making this statement?

I got a pr 3 for my new website (2 months old). Couldn't say I'm satisfied...

 

PR update is nice

 

Here is my problem, When I go to Index page of my site, I see google toolbar showing PR3 but when I just type my domain.com i dont see PR. What could be the reason and is it good or bad?

 

I am wondering when the next Google page rank update will be as my websites have been going up and down with the page rank thing.

Its not predictable when Google Does Page Rank Update but you can count about 3-4 months time when google updates PR database. During this time you should make every effort to make your site popular through submissions, blogs, articles or press release. whatever best you can do, do it now as you just have 3-4 months till u see update in PR

 

I don't seem to get any updates..

Since my blog is under a directory, i.e: http://www.michaelaulia.com/blogs/ instead of http://www.michaelaulia.com, will I ever get a PR update? or PageRank is just for the root domain..?

You can get PR for any of your blog or website page. The condition is how popular is your page.
I hope you are trying to get as much Back links as possible to make it popular, the back links can do wonders in PR, especially back link from good PR.

Well you should be happy to see that your Blog has PR1 now.
