Do you believe those people sitting in the back of a caravan with witches painted on the side claiming they can look at your hand and tell you you're going to have 12 kids next year, get married the year after, then have six relationships off the toe with the world's most richest men/women?

Well, if not - then why do you believe a PR predictor?

 

of course this tool cant be accurate, google wont update your backlinks daily.. this tool has no way to know how many new backlinks you got on google

Oh great someone with a PR woody again.

 

A good bit of fun overall, and nothing to get worked up on. I read the first thread and understood exactly that it was a bit of fun. For all of you people that get carried away with PR, don't worry, PR means nothing when it goes to some serious SEO. The only problem PR creates is with new sites and only in Google. For example, your site is brand new and you manage to get a link from a higher PR site with your main search term (Keyword), that other site will come up first with your main key word. The most important thing is to get a site to the top, and that is creating links either from your own site using RSS and Mod Rewrite search engine friendly urls, or creating a lot of one way links from a site that is either on the same PR as you or below. Obviously, meta tags, indexed pages, submissions and general good SEO will get you to the top, no matter what your PR is, just depends if you want to do it and also if you have the time. PR is a way Google have created to iliminate the crap, unfortunalty, I think too many people rely on PR, when really PR can actually create many problems for a new site. I have a PR5 site and I am going to keep that a secret, well the URL anyway. I can tell you that time is a major factor on PR. Have a domain name, build a one page site with nothing really important on it, renew it for 3 years, and then you got a PR5 homepage! Obviously, use your meta tags in the right way (I am not going to let you know my meta tags for any site, but I have a way!). IMPORTANT THING!!! Create a site, enjoy your site, keep it, expand it and one of the main things is this "Keep it original", these sites work so well and have produced millionaires. I concentrate on Classifieds sites, offering paid featured adverts, One of my sites is on the first page in Google.co.uk which aint bad for Free UK Classifieds, considering the search term for my site is simply "Classifieds". I am making next to nothing for that site. I have asked questions, applied the answers, and nothing different. So I am going to leave you with 2 things to think about.

1, Get a niche and get it to the top using pain staking methods and you will succede. This is why the crap is getting illiminated.

2, Email me at and I will get your site to the top and then I can't guarantee it will stay there! It will probably do you better to get it there yourself!

Did the pagerank really change? I noticed that one of my site's pagerank dropped from 4 to 2 :S
