    This update...

Pagerank got higher but rankings have gone down and one of my pages which was on 1st page ranking for long is now not even showing in index.

    No1 else sees it?

    Examples please?

I've only seen 'usual' (i.e. to be expected) SERPs movements.

I am not sure what happened / is happening with the last update. My SERPs have changed slighly on some sites, but have improved on others, as well as having some new pages on a site of mine gaining a PR4 even though they are about 8 weeks old.

My pageRank on my site dropped from a 3-2.
It used to be a 4.

I think it may have something to do with outgoing links and Google penalizing me for haveing 'paid links' from my site. I don't understand there logic there. It's ok for them to make billions from paid links, but when we try to earn a few quid we get penalized for it.

My site centrictravel.com any suggestions welcome.

I have added rel="nofollow" for some of the more unrelated banners and links.

The pagerank one my main site from from PR 4 to PR5 recently. The site not counting the forums has around 50k pages, with about 3k of these being music reviews. For the last few years the reviews were based on using querystrings (/reviews.asp?rid=3456) but I just recently updated these reviews to use a directory naming based on the album name.

Since doing this a large number of the reviews have received page ranking, which seems to have increased the ranking on my site as a whole.

Over the next few months now that I have a working sitemap for google it should hopefully go up higher. Yet I still have crappy listings for the majority of specific keywords I'm going after.

I got nothing here, no changes in pagerank. Are you sure it's updated? I expected a change, at least by 1 or 2...

Stop relying on PR Its a horrible static measurement that is quite often incorrect. I'd much rather rely of SERP to see how my site is doing.

I hope the next PR update is soon. I really want to get my pagerank up. I have around 3000 backlinks and my site still has a pagerank of 0.
