Google's Page Rank Discussion Thread

A few months ago my site dropped from PR 3 to PR2 and now I'm happy that my page rank increased back to PR3. Have you checked yours?

 

i noticed earlier my site went from PR0 to PR3
Was cool to see but im not really fussed about the visible PR score unless im wanting to sell the domain

 

Yes, I see a PR update. On one of our websites we got PR on most all the inner pages. Not that PR means anything. :/

 

One of my site being 3 months old went from 0 to 4. Others being older or younger remained having the same PR.

 

Yes, it has happened. I've seen a few pages lose some PR.

 

looks like this PR most of them loose their site's PR... Hope we have a PR update soon.

If you dont mind telling,,, what links did you mainly get for your blog? Did you post on other peoples blog in your niche and how many times per day?

some good lists of sites... be more enjoyable if i could actually cut and paste them off your page!

I think what I have been missing is the very start phase of getting my blogs into the directories. I tried last year but found that many of them had a mass of rules or would not verify the sites without payment so I gave up. Be good if you could identify the ones on your list that are user friendly .. thanks again!

 

Would you stick your page up your ass - that officially proves nothing... it's not a reputable source for starters... and you've spammed it in every PR thread possible... you're clogging up my updates.

 

Mine was increased now after it was brought down last time.

 

If you are using a toolbar, you need to refresh the page in your browser. 50% of the time sites are showing n/a, but when you refresh it usually gives the pagerank.

 

Could be that this is only a partial update, as only new sites seem to have increased in ranking, most old ones remained the same. Maybe G will update the older ones later this week...

Yeah - I witnessed the same thing with my site, weird considering as a PR3 - 3 months ago (last update) it was receiving 1k visits per day & this week it has 15k visits per day and yet the PR is the same... still at PR3 today... maybe they roll out slowly or some shit. Was more of an intrigue thing... cos it doesn't mean much anyways.

 

Yes. New domains acquire PR first, then PR domains tend to update few weeks later.

but it updates the inner page page rank

 

Yes it updated yesterday, some sites got their PR down but most of them got good PR's

 

But PR is a reflection of your dofollow backlinks
