    Very cool. My hard work is paying off - all my important pages now have either a PR1 or PR2. I didn't realize that Google only updates twice a year. I can assume the next one will be in December?

    This PR update seems like many site's PR increased. I Hardly see any site's pr got reduced at least for the my site which i was handling. Anyone else felt the same?

    My website's pagerank has been updated to PR6 from PR0. I have opened the site 3 months ago. And made little link building. I dan't understand the situation, is that possible to gain Pr like this, in such a short time?

    Does anyone has comment on this?

    The PageRank algorithm doesn't change. There are two possible sources for the PR9.

    #1: The PR algo is functioning properly, and google.com no longer represents the highest likelihood site for a person to end up at. This reflects the ascent of Facebook.

    #2: The update is buggy or not complete.

    I favor #2. What makes me particularly lean that was is that .GOV PRs worldwide took a major beatdown. It seems highly unlikely to me that global linking to .GOV domains dropped so suddenly.

    I would be surprised to see a corrective update in the next few weeks. I don't figure the .GOVs to stay so beaten down. To me that's a very bad signal that something is jammed up in the system.

    How google is affected? lol, traffic matters, Pr has no concern, its just a game for them.
