    I use the SearchStatus plugin for Firefox to keep an eye on my sites. It's handy because it does more than just page rank.

    Sadly I'm not expecting any positive change soon - I've had a load of downtime recently :(

    Can someone explain how the site I see for sale on this forum can have a PR 3,4,5 and have no links to them or content?
    Also, if a person buys them, can that PR ranking drop to zero next time Google does their ranking?

    Anyone have any experience with that?

    Because PR is yet to be updated. Maybe the backlinks were removed after the last PR update and when the PR updates again in the future it will no longer have the same PR as now/today.
    Yes, it will drop to zero if there are no high PR backlinks.

    Yeah, PR updates keep happening all the time these days. Sometimes you get back the PR and sometimes you don't.
