I'm seeing some changes...my new sites being cached...I guess its happening

 

Why would getting cached has anything to do with a PR update?

 

Google doesn't let us know until the very last minute when the 'Google Dance' will happen And to a_sharma205, getting cached has nothing to do with it Website's get cached every second/minute/hour - Google's PR update only happens every now & then

 

What's the best thing to do to get a high PR?

 

You to have link build on a hi PR sites...careful in choosing those sites...it should be the right niche as well.

 

My site jumped from pr2 to pr3....

 

I know that...actually I wanted to say I am seeing a 301 redirect which I formed some days ago... info:domainname shows the 301 redirect for a domain name only after a PR update. Am I right?

Sorry that I formed the above sentence wrong I wanted to add that after getting cached I see a 301 redirect for the domain name I'm talking about. Anyways, the cache was removed next day, I don't see it. So no update.

 

Our Site went from PR3 to PR1 over the last month unexpectedly without any change on our part. can someone help me understand how this could happen?

One year ago I managed to improve from 0 to 4 in one month. It was my best month )

 

Its happens all the time, just refer or check your links whether its dead or live that might affects your PR's.

 

Yup, I see. I had a similar experience. I removed my blog domain and changed its redirection and got a PR5 for the original site.

yeah i think some of the PRs are updated is PR is completely depends on backlinks?

 

I noticed this morning that the PR on one of my blogs has increased. While I am happy about this I could not help but wonder about something.

The blog in question is http://ineeddiscipline.com but if I check that for my PR it says '0' but http://www.ineeddiscipline.com ranks as a PR1.

What makes it confusing for me is that I only promote http://ineeddiscipline and have never promoted it with the www in.

So how come the version that I have never promoted gained PR when the version that I promoted the hell out of still stays at '0'?

Can anyone help me solve this?

 

Both are PR1 actually! something with the tool or data centres you are using. Use a different tool for PR checking

 

Thank you I'll give it a couple of days and then have another check.

I partake in sponsored posts a lot and obviously showing them I have a PR1 blog instead of a PR0 blog would result in me earning more income.

Hi,
there are some fluctuations if your site has a redirected PR. You can install seoquake if you need to see your site PR and check if its valid using the google search command "info:example.com"

 

I see the version without www is showing PR-1 and the www version is 301 redirected to the non www version which is good.

Do you have Google WMT's? If so, check under 'Site configuration >> Settings' and make sure 'Display URLs as ineeddiscipline.com' is selected.
