    I agree and see the effect that SERP is update but not PR UPDATE... So far no PR Update is done by google as i guess.

    PR is of significant importance and has a large contributing effect of how you rank for keyword terms within the search engines.

    SERP's don't depend on Pagerank. I have many sites with pagerank 0 ranking top 10 for many popular keywords.

    I always see this kind of statement on many PR discussions.
    I agree with you on this, however you have to understand that this 'online business' is complex. People make money from various streams. While you need traffics to make money, other people make money from their Pagerank, they don't care about traffics or serps.

    There's no better way, best way, or stupid way to make money online, the main point is making money. That's why we have farmers, doctors, lawyers, etc in real world.

    Pagerank has a little to do with your site ranking. It is a very long time ago they were so important in contribution to site ranking. In my opinion, Google just using more specific criteria to rank site/pages and pagerank important has been reduced to almost zero. You would see site with PR 1-2 outrank site PR 4-5 for some competitive search terms. :)
