    me too.. it is possible for that to happen.

    I have seen a huge jump when my friend did a backlinks Google SEO for her website.

    i bought one domain which was pr1 after transfer its become pr2 in next 2 days now its pr0 - whats in google mind do they really have any strategy to follow or just keep changes as and when

    Google crawls my site for every two weeks..Last month Page rank reduced.

    BUt this month It increased. Very happy.

    Hi there,

    I am completely new to the whole SEO part of the business. I just recently moved from sales into Marketing and have been looking into the companies back links. I have 1 question that I am unclear about - and I have been doing alot of reading up on it over the last few weeks!!
    It's in relation to Page Rank and directories. I am trying to understand how Google views a website that appears in a directory. Let's say for instance the overall directory is ranked as 5 but the page that your company is linked to is not actually ranked by Google. What does that mean for the validity of the link? Will Google recognise this as a valid link back to the company website?? Will the fact that the page the link appears on is unranked mean that the link I set up won't count in the end towards upping our PR with google? :confused:

    I've been reading up on so much about this but there are always the basic questions I don't seem to be able to answer!! I would be grateful if anyone out there can help me.

    page ranks have been decreasing since last year and will continue to go down looks like as google says it doesnt focus on rank no more as much

    How effect about seo or not?

    My web sites all still have the same Page Rank.

    But as far as I know that PR is not relevant factor for the amount of your web site traffic.

    Well, I think it is. When my website got for the first time PR4 the traffic starts to come from Google. It gave me much better positions. :)
