No, it doesn't. Google has been blocking a lot of the PR checkers so it will always say that.

 

maybe update is going on i see many people talk about this thing

 

This is the point so many miss. People complain constantly about why they are being unfairly penalized and had a PR drop. Sometimes a website owner or blogger has done nothing wrong, but if a number of websites that link to them suddenly lose their PR, then the strength of the PR of the website belonging to them will naturally go down.

A very simple concept that many complainers overlook.

 

so u mean the past september PR update right? we are all waiting for the next PR update huhu. possibly end of this month but maybe during xmas. who knows!

 

I found the PR keep update monthly for 2-3 times already. Is this normal?

 

My PR went to 4 briefly today and back to 3

 

going from N/A to 0 is hardly good progress though is it? I think maybe its just an interim update. The full one will surely be at least another month away In my opinion

PR means nothing from an SEO standpoint, it is nothing but a number and a little green bar in your toolbar. I do not know why people still concern themselves over a websites PR.

 

i wonder if the pr update today?

 

Although I don't care about PR for all of you that do Google is currently going through updating the toolbar pagerank.

I launched my blog October 20th, loaded up Wordpress and made my first post that same day (and it's still there as the first post). At some point last week I think it was, it went from no PR (gray bar) to PR0 and today it went from PR0 to PR2. I'm 100% positive it was PR0 this morning. If that means there's an update going on across the web I don't know or really care, but my blog jumped from 0 to 2 today for sure.

I saw the thread and thought I'd chime in considering I just saw the update to my site.

 

It will happen this month.

 

That will be too early but no one can really predict when.
