Google's Page Rank Discussion Thread

Wow!! I got a PR4 in just three weeks and four days of the debut of the site. I have to admit, I did put massive effort into PR than any other site I've ever done previously. My other sites with less promotion, went from unranked to 0 and another went from unranked to 1. My other sites stayed the same.

 

I got nothing in this update, all sites remained the same. Just few of internal pages got PR

 

Whoooaa .. from 0-4 in three weeks is impressive. You must have done something right ... huge numbers of links in that short time can get you penalized. Must have gotten the right number of links from lots of relevant site. Congrats !

 

My site's inner Pageranks changed and increased. Something I posted last week, hardly had any backlinks but has a PR of 2 now. Weird.

I just checked all my sites today and 1 site is 2 mths old and is for nothing more than my portfolio and got it a PR 2 and my alien site is maybe 3 weeks old and is a PR2 WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! AlohaAliens(dot)com & EddieRuble(dot)com. And I dont know anything about SEO and did not pay for backlinks or set up traffic trades. I love the way life turns out sometimes.

 

Usually no ... unless you move to another country or a bad neighbor.

 

this just changed for you last week?? interesting news, I didn't know that google was doing a pr update this recently, I need to check all my sites now

yes i buled backlinks before but my site age is 3 years not new !!

before i do it and i selling link but when i know google doesnt like i stop sell

Losses for me !
My site dragged constantly for second time.
Earlier it went from pr 3 to 2 & now from pr2 to pr1

 

Not as long as your sites IP address doesn't change.

Today, I have checked my sites and recognized that Google updated PR for my sites. Two websites were dropped in PR. Other sites don't change PR.

PR4 --> PR3
PR2 --> PR1

What are your results?

 

thanks, it had to do with a recent product release in the press and the news coverage matched my link building efforts. i just looked for relevant blogs and answered related questions in forums and yahoo answers. i didn't care if it was nofollow or dofollow but i did leave comments tailored to each blog so i wasn't spamming. news has simmered so i've decreased the link building accordingly. no article submissions or social bookmarking done but i guess i should try it out.

 

No change in my sites.

 

if your traffic is still good and your serps are good I wouldnt worry too much about pr

 

My google chrome blog went from no rank to 0. Hooray!
