I agree. I have a couple sites that have a couple thousand legitimate backlinks from PR2-5 sites..and the best I got was a PR2. That used to be good enough to get at least a PR3 or even PR4.

 

Yes PageRank has started from 24 July, 2008 and i can see different datacenters giving different values

Any news on when the update will stop, if that makes sense? My PR has been jumping from 5 to 6 and back to 5.

mine too got updated yesterday and it has moved from 0 to 2.Hurray!

 

Within 4 month my site has pr4. I am very happy and hope your site increase pr too.

 

If it is happening, mine has stayed the same so far. Which is actually lucky for me as I haven't worked on it for a long while.

Awsome! I used dlls.info to find my pagerank. Started 25 new websites last month. 2 stayed at PR0, 2 went to PR1 and 21 sites went to PR2 and there is one page per site on the majority of my sites. I'm lovin it!

 

In firefox 3 i see the changed that the tool which is the HERo of this thread read from the updated DC.

I use the search status 1.26.

I think it's official now ....even MattCutts has specified in his blog. So it's the time to wait and watch.

 

This PR hasn't started yet. I believe it will be long and painful.

What I seen so far is minor websites are getting PR, but authority websites (website with good media cover, Press Releases, Affiliates Links, etc) hasn't been touched.

 

My blogs updated as follows:

1. Blog #1: 6 unchanged but internal pages suffered some downgrades (I applied the nofollow tag to keep the 80% page rank on the homepage, so the internal pages downgraded from PR 3, 4, 5 to 1 and 2)
2. Blog #2: 5 unchanged
3. Blog #3: 5 unchanged
4. Blog #4: 3 (upgrade from 2 to 3)
5. Blog #5: 1 (upgrade from 0 to 1)

My directories:

Directory 1: 3 (upgrade from 2 to 3)
Directory 2: 2 (unchanged)
