Google's Own Tech Demo Misfires with inaccurate results

Ok, so I know that search engines get things wrong every once in a while (and we SEO smiths certainly contribute to the cause). But it's different if you're trying to show off how a new technology works only to have it misfire.

They wrote a blog article titled Just the facts, fast, but it would be better if they edit and retitle "Better check your facts, first". I just blogged how one of their examples, the Sony PSP release date was wrong. They quoted March 18th, it actually occured on March 24th.

Two things I noticed: This new Q&A feature, which is delivered as a true first result, is most likely optimizeable. And, it also uses semantic analysis to help determine what the probable "answer" may be.
