Nothing will ever beat metascooper.com.in as Google's only real threat. The thing gets visitors in the thousands per week. Meta tags are making a comeback baby.

 

I love how everyone can be so critical of a new site. For those of who don't know the URL to The Freekat Search Engine it's www.freekat.com

Personally, I like it. And if you read the Webmaster Knowledgebase you will see that the number of results are limited to a reasonable number, usually between 150-400 search results. INSTEAD of sifting through 1,000,000 pages you only have to search throught the first few pages. As well as minimal ad's.

AS WELL AS offering FREE 3GB email accounts!

I personally think that this is a great achievement, and I give props to the programmers working hard behind the scenes. And I don't care what all of you say about this site.

Instead of just passing junk critisism may'be you should take a look at it first.

As far as google. I don't like it. yes it is a good tool when you are trying to promote your site and achieve high rankings because THE MAJORITY OF THE WORLD USES GOOGLE. YES WE KNOW THIS, HOWEVER I PERSONALLY LIKE FREEKAT.COM and according to Alexa and the public statistics listed on their pages, freekat.com is gaining credibility.

Oh, as well as the fact that the whole reason why I know about it is because it was on the Colbert Report on Comedy Central!!!
