Saw this on the WSJ website tonight... http://www.businessweek.com/technol...p+news_top+news+index_businessweek+exclusives Looks like they are going to allow you to advertise in up to 100 newspapers via an online type submission. Rolling Out This Week supposedly.. hmmmm Adsense for Newspapers possible?
All major U.S. dailies, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, Seattle Times, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune and others, are ready to print Google Ads in their newspapers starting next month until January 2007. Check out the story here Newspapers to Test Plan to Sell Ads on Google
google will become the biggest player in advertise sector so it must have newspaper. i think they use tv advertsement in future
Man I don't know about this print ads deal. A few months ago, I spent almost $400.00 and advertised Linkspub in the computer services section of the Washingtop Post for 8 runs over 4 weeks. I literally got 3 - 4 visits each time my ad ran. Suppsedly a circulation of over 1 million. A good way to check is to see some print ads and then see the alexa ranking of those ads and you will see how effective they are. So I think the best way to advertise a site, is by buying links to it. They will get you traffic and increase your pagerank.
Hmm that is not very good results maybe people will pay more attention to Google's ads though. This seems like a cool idea wonder if it will cost the same amount although I am sure it will be a hot item on the launch. Will keep my eye on this.
