Google's new wizard for making ads now in place.

Google's new wizard for making adsense ad blocks is now in operation.

It looks like everytime you want to create a new adsense block, it will be saved. And you will only be able to modify the links colors and background colors for that block through your adsense account. What a pain if you have hundreds of pages stretched across multiple websites where different pages have their own color schemes, etc.

More complications... It appears to be mandatory as well :(

By wizard I do mean the new management system.

Are you talking about their Ad Management System? That's way too old news, no offense.

Sure it was old news when we had a choice of using it or not.

Now, unless I am mistaken, all new ad blocks created must go through the managed ads method, which means each new block has to be named and saved.

I was wondering when the older method would no longer be used.

Oh well. At least this change isn't really intrusive or meant to shave a few pennies off all our bottom lines....

It's a bit intrusive if you are doing revenue sharing by swapping publisher ID's on the server side...
