Google's new wizard for making adsense ad blocks is now in operation. It looks like everytime you want to create a new adsense block, it will be saved. And you will only be able to modify the links colors and background colors for that block through your adsense account. What a pain if you have hundreds of pages stretched across multiple websites where different pages have their own color schemes, etc. More complications... It appears to be mandatory as well By wizard I do mean the new management system.
Sure it was old news when we had a choice of using it or not. Now, unless I am mistaken, all new ad blocks created must go through the managed ads method, which means each new block has to be named and saved.
I was wondering when the older method would no longer be used. Oh well. At least this change isn't really intrusive or meant to shave a few pennies off all our bottom lines....
It's a bit intrusive if you are doing revenue sharing by swapping publisher ID's on the server side...
