Website Optimizer allows advertisers to have one page, perhaps a home page, add some Java scripts to the page, and then be able to show visitors different versions of that page. Advertisers can then track and see which version is most effective for their purposes in terms of driving return on investment. The new tool represents one of the biggest product launches in a while for Google's AdWords business. Advertisers can sign up for Website Optimizer at www.google.com/websiteoptimizer. Separately, Google also launched a new partner program called Google Website Optimizer Authorized Consultants. Optimost, EpikOne, Future Now, ROI Revolution, and SiteTuners.com, providers of conversion optimization services, are charter members of the group. How cool is this?
It is still beta but it just opened to the general public. http://services.google.com/websiteoptimizer/
we should be an adwords publisher to use this service, so l ve to creat one adwords id first :S Thanks for inf
been using this service for a while. my major problem is that we have hundreds of ad groups so it is hard to implement this across our entire site. I wish Google would make it easier for bulk implementation of the website optimizer. Wes
Great tool! The results made me wish I spent the money 6 months ago with Optimost or another suite of software. Since optimizers launch I've ran many tests and found that my main limitation is that optimizer is a full variant testing platform and lacks the fractional approach the paid guys offer. This means you can test less combinations and that tests take longer. Granted the big guys offer full testing as well and they recommended it if time allows. Easy to integrate with limited bugs with analytics. Great starting tool and it's free, the other outfits charge 2k per month.
