    I've been noticing quite a few directory listings in Google's organic results lately.

    Don't count directories out.

    i think i should start a niche directory..just started a general directory. after 3 hours 50 had submit..

    Better make Google dead meat then, because they sell link space as part of their Adwords service. So does Yahoo, infact every search engine sells links.

    Who are Google to penalize others for what they do themselves.
