google's logo is proof that were all going to be sucked up in a black hole. we all know that google rules the earth,so.. seriously,i don't get caught up in that stuff, but i found the logo to be funny.
Yes it is funny and google also tacking it seriously...this all are looking foolish..what you guys say..
Yes, the logo is funny! I've read on some news site that there is a possibility that we all can be sucked up in blackhole, if something goes wrong. according to me its all BS.
Oh gosh. When the science itself takes two directions, I can't say anything. It's like, two doctors, with the same degree, one saying, this pill will cure you and the other, it will kill you. I hope that they stop the experiment. Stephen Hawking himself once confessed that his theories are wrong. And if this experiment which is also based on some of his theories, then it has a higher chance of failure. Apocalypse is one week away, guys??
They have always changed their logo to reflect the trend. This one is sure interesting, trying to induce some sense of humor into it.
What are all you guys talking about :? The Machine was turned on this morning without any faults! Back to normailty
They are either going to find the Higgs boson, or they are not. That's the entire purpose of this thing; to prove the standard model of particle physics. No stupid black holes and strangelets
What I foind especially funny in the last site, is all the 'just happens to be'-ing. There's no proof given, no references, nothing. Bullshit. Besides, point 7 is invalid, because there is no link between UV radiation and a magnetic field. The real danger in losing our magnetosphere lies in atmospheric erosion and irradiation with strongly energetic solar particles.
Just saw news on different channels that the experiment was successfully done and come they are preparing for bigger experiments. Anyway, the logo looks good.
Well the real test (the one which might create a blackhole) is going to be in october. Today's test was with just one particle, in october they'll going to make the particles clash.
"The Large Hadron Collider, the worlds most expensive science experiment, is set to be turned on tomorrow. We've discussed this multiple times already. A small group of people believe our world will be sucked into extinction (some have even sent death threats). The majority of us, however, won't be losing any sleep tonight." http://science.slashdot.org/science/08/09/09/2142259.shtml
