Hi Wow, this is huge - loaded up Google's keyword tool, and it is now giving RAW DATA! No more bars - I'm talking NUMBERS, and without exporting to Excel. It's right there on their website. Check it out! https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal (not a hop link) Thanks
This is a step in the right direction! I stumbled upon the numbers when searching for CPC's on July 7th.
Dont know why the buzz, cause big G had already another tool that showed the search numbers... in numbers.
Thats a great update...thanks for the heads up,,,it almost went unnoticed. Any suggestions how to compete in those really competitive keywords like web traffic.....
Yeah, I saw this last night. I couldn't tell if this was some setting I changed, or if google was being nice to me for spending money with them. adcenter already did this, so I'm glad to see google has started as well.
yes, it is all I need now for my adwords campaign. It's gonna be damn expensive and more competitive now.
I told my subscribers about this. Almost ALL of them have already opened it. I've never seen a response like that in any of my mail-outs. From what I've read elsewhere on the net, Wordtracker was only giving figures from 2-3% of the overall traffic. I think that tool is now officially dead. (I'm a newbie at this forum btw, hello everyone!)
The numbers show actual number of searches performed within the previous month. The only other tool Google provide was it's traffic estimator, which did not show actual number of searches, it just showed the number of clicks it expected your advert to get per day. I personally think its a great step in the right direction, but what we really need is a seperate tool showing stats for JUST the keywords you type, plus you need to be able to get search volumes for specific countries/regions/cities
Awesome tip, props... Oh and nice name! I haven't started using adwords for any of my campaigns yet so this should give me a good headstart on the game.
Finally, they actually listened to us and put out the numbers, may be the final nail in the coffin for msn and yahoo. -Patz
