Google's index, cache and penalties

I'm sorry for this kind of simple question , but can you tell me how can I check G's index, cache and if the site is penalized?
I know that "site:domainname" shows how many indexed pages there are.
But what if I want to know whether "domain.com/xxx.html" is in index and in cache.

I've read about this here in DP, but still can somebody tell me more

info:domain.com/xxx.html


If you get the following result to site is usually not banned:

Sorry, no information is available for the URL domain.com/xxx.html
• If the URL is valid, try visiting that web page by clicking on the following link: domain.com/xxx.html
• Find web pages from the site domain.com/xxx.html
• Find web pages that contain the term "domain.com/xxx.html"

I would look closely if you get the following result as it's possible that the site is penalized:

Sorry, no information is available for the URL domain.com/xxx.html
• Find web pages from the site domain.com/xxx.html
• Find web pages that contain the term "domain.com/xxx.html"

To check the cache of any page:

cache:domain.com/xxx.html

 

site:www.yourdomain.com should tell you whether the site is catched, indexed or even banned.

But know if domainname/xxx.html isn't cached or in index how can I put it there??
