Hi According ti Googkes guidelines it say that you should not have more than 100 link on any given page. I have 124 alot of them are links to internal pages - so I guess I will get a slap on the wrist for this? TY
They are referring to external links; however you don't want to just go below the threshold of external links, I try to have no more than 3 external links unless it benefits my visitors.
Are you sure that they are talking about external links because even for the site map they say not to have more than 100 links otherwise to break it up into extra pages. Site maps are for internal links I take it and therefore google does noet want more than 100 interanl links on aany page. Am I right or wrong here? TY
Sitemaps should be no larger than 10MB (10,485,760 bytes) and can contain a maximum of 50,000 URLs. Code (markup): http://www.sitemaps.org/faq.php#faq_sitemap_size I have no clue where your koolaid is coming from.
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/docs/en/protocol.html#faq_sitemap_size There is the same text on Google's website, don't bother with your "resource".
