Google's favorite website niche?

I am curious what niches google likes the most... do you think this could be correlated to the CPC paid by google?

For example google prefers to accept website categories that pay more per click, so if you apply with a insurance site they will be more likely accept your site?

Just curious, randomly was thinking today as I may start a business and start using adsense.

A good thinking on your part but any website that adheres to the TOS and excluding those niches banned by the google are likely to be approved by the adsense.

They don't have a favorite niche. I know there is no such thing as a stupid question, but this one is pushing it.

I have been denied before because they were taking limited sites for the niche I was working with.

Real dumb question on my part :-?

Because the sites above you had too much authority. How much inurls and intitles did the keyword have?

google as a search engine doesnt have any specific favorite ones. they use the same ranking algorithm to rank all the sites.

10k visitors a month 100k pageviews a month ajax php mmorpg site with 70% us traffic, site was 3 months old... ended up selling it for $2600, mostly sold it because google wouldnt accept my site... but then again updating it was a pain.

You got a good price for your site anyway. Didn't you think of trying other advert companies like adbrite, kontera etc?. Just wanted to ask how did you sell your site?.

I did at the time and was making ~$100 a month of adbrite, I bet that would be double or triple if it had adsense. But anyway it probably sold for so high because it was a completely custom mmorpg that I hand coded and had a very loyal memberbase who purchased a good amount of character upgrades.

Anyway the person who bought it just crashed it... I should have just done the work to update it I guess

Chitika and Adbrite pay pennies on the dollar compared to Adsense

As far as I know, Google likes to offer honest services. There is no point in choosing one favorite niche, when their profit comes from optimization of ads and making good, quality content available on any subject.

I do not think Google is greedy, they may be are, but at least in a smart, acceptable way. They really do think twice before offering new features to existing users.

Why do people honestly pay for this service? I have never had a site rejected from Google?

I think google is fair enough when it comes to niche of the site. The important is, your site must have lots of content so that spider will crawl it and index your pages.
