What is the basic algorithm of Google for rankings in searching engine
&
Is it changed after Google Caffeine is introduced ?

Am kinda confusion.

 

No one knows Google's Algorithm for rankings completely except Google Inc.

 

But there should be some points or rules to follow

Algorithm is based on Onpage factors, content and meta information plus backlinks (votes) from external websites with proper anchor text. Caffeine is now going to merge social media and seo in hopes of getting more relevant / timely results for the users, which it should. This means you should optimize not only your pages but web 2.0 profiles as well.

 

The algorythm is '1 + 1 = 2'

The most important factor in algorithm is number of quality backlinks you have for the particular keyword (s), although there are hundres of other factors.

Google Caffeine is only beneficial for the websites updating very frequently.
Its nothing to do with Rankings
